By Road
The new A55 coastal expressway links Snowdonia with the historic town
of Chester and the arterial motorways of the M6 and M1 for links to London
and the Channel Ports and Tunnel. For a more leisurely, scenic drive, follow
the A5 from Telford. The port of Holyhead connecting with Ireland is only
an hour's drive away.
Good road links mean fast journey times by coach at surprisingly low
prices. Convenient express services operate from London's Victoria Coach
station and from almost all major towns and cities in England and Scotland.
