| From the A55 take the first exit for Bangor, turn left at the
roundabout and then Immediately right following the services signs on to
the B4366. Turn left at the roundabout by a café to the A4244 (formerly
B4547).
From the A5 turn left at Capel Curig on to the A4086, turning right at the Pen y Gwryd Hotel. Turn right on to the A4244 (formerly B4547) after Llanberis. From the A4244 take the turning indicated on our map with an arrow, at the top of a rise , before a petrol station, and signposted to DEINIOLEN & DINORWIG. Immediately before the 30mph signs turn left up a hill (signposted Marchlyn - which is a lake). Carry on up this road bearing right past a plantation of conifers. Tal y Waen is the first (and last) house on the left after these. GRID REFERENCE: 594633
