A Wonderful route around the mountain

For several years locals and visitors alike have been pushing for the
creation of a waymarked path circling Snowdon and since a feasibility
study by Snowdonia Active in 2004 work has started on new stiles and
gates in the Llanberis pass.
Good news for anyone wanting to walk the route there is a new website

with, not only a detailed description of the route - all using footpaths,
bridleways, forest tracks, access land and open countryside - but also
giving loads of excellent information on interesting sites and sights 'en
